Ooooooooh, man.

I failed miserably. So, bad I didn't even solve/complete the crime.

Now, even though I lost - I did find this to be a nice challenge.

The storyline was cool and the elements of solving the "locks" was unique.

My only knocks on the game was the quality of materials/paper products... but for $15 you definitely get your money's worth.

As well, I always hate having to destroy/purposely damage items for in game functionality.

The puzzles/locks - for myself - was troublesome (I heavily used the hints/clues) and they were somewhat time consuming but I wouldn't necessarily say that is a negative. At most, I would say this is a testament to playing with a set friends.

In the end, I was deflated from failing but I did get a very enjoyable experience. I would still recommend.

Still can’t stop thinking about EXIT

One of the things I wanted to do for my birthday was another of those ‘Exit The Game’ games.

MY BRAIN HURTS. IN A GOOD WAY 🤣

My brain does not think in the way that those puzzles are built and solved. BUT it was so much fun! And I keep hoping if I play more of them, that I’ll get better at them xD

@poppylatte and I have now completed 2 Exit the Games. It was easier the second time, in that we had a little more idea what to expect. But harder because the 2nd game we got did so much less hand holding or explaining and plopped us in the middle of 6 puzzles at once with no explanation of which to work on or even if they were complete.

After wondering if the game was made incorrectly, we finally figured out it wasn’t and what our first steps were. Ha ha xD

But yeah! Great and fun day! My head hurts, but it was worth it. 🤣

(Games we’ve tried are House of Riddles and The Abandoned Cabin.)

Sentient Mystery Shack, who is really biased towards Stan, so when Ford tells Stan he has to give it back after the summer it’s on sight.

Ford keeps tripping over nothing, nothing is where it's supposed to be and somehow he keeps running into closets when he tries to go outside.

But the worst part, the WORST part is that Ford's lightbulb just won't. Work. No matter what he does it keeps flickering and exploding.

Ford is spiraling. 

There is no reason why it shoudln’t work. All his trial runs work perfectly. He’s already checked the Shacks wiring three times and relearned this dimensions science from the ground up. 

Nothing works.

The Rift? Bill? The impending apocalypse? Eating? Sleep? Who cares about that. 

WHY. WONT. THE. LIGHTBULB. WORK???

It doesn’t help that Stan keeps laughing at him.

“Then you do it!” Ford eventually snaps at Stan.

Stan shrugs and with a little song under his breath screws his own lightbulb in. It works perfectly.

Stanford screams.

I haven’t seen anyone post about the epilogue you get if you romance Gale and he sacrifices himself at the final battle. I did this for science, but I didn’t expect how much it would wreck me 😭
